Hi guys, Danny here. In this video, I am going to show you how fast do aloe vera plants grow in a container In this experiment, the aloe vera plants that you chose are those planted in a very fine river sand or river mud Aloe vera planted in river sand grows slower compared with
those planted in soil mixed with compost I started by measuring the length of the aloe vera
leaf and marked the leaf with a permanent marker Also the leaf that I measured and marked is   The second from the youngest leaf so
there is only one leaf following it   I did the same to two more plants in
order to get an average growth measurement The first leaf measured 11.5 centimeters, a little more
than 4.5 inches in length. The second Leaf measured 7 centimeters or almost 3 inches. The third Leaf measured 12 centimeters or almost 5 inches After six weeks, the leaf that I marked from the
first plant has grown very much longer. Also, the plant has grown four new leaves
and when I measured the leaves that I marked   It reaches 13 inches, which means the
leaf has grown 8.5 inches in 6 weeks   The second plant has grown three new leaves And when I measured the leaf that I marked
it reaches 10.5 inches which means the   Leaf has grown 7.5 inches in 6 weeks Also, the third plant has grown three new leaves And when I measured the leaves that I marked it
reaches 10.5 inches which means the leaf has grown   5.5 inches in 6 weeks. Based on this experiment, The aloe vera plant can grow two to three new leaves per month If they are planted in river sand and in a container If the plant can grow two to three new leaves per month It also means that you can
harvest two to three leaves per month As I have mentioned earlier, aloe vera can grow faster and
bigger in compost soil So this means that you can harvest more leaves per month if they are planted in soil mixed with compost or in a fertile soil. I hope you learned something.
Thank you for watching
