When and How Often Do You Harvest Aloe vera Leaves? Just like how do you water Or how often do you water Aloe vera, The question When and how often do you harvest aloe vera Has no simple answer. Pruning or cutting away the leaves of the plant Can also be considered harvesting
on the part of the Aloe vera plant, But not on the part of the grower or the farmer. So, I am going to answer
this as simple as possible. From the time you planted Aloe vera, The plant will start to grow roots and leaves On the average, It will grow about 2 to 3 leaves per month And sometimes more Depending on the soil and nutrients Given to the plant, Specially when it is still young. And on the question, when
to harvest Aloe vera leaves? You can start harvesting Or pruning the leaves of Aloe vera, Two months after you planted, Because you will barely see
growth on its first month. Pruning or cutting away leaves is necessary, If you want your Aloe vera plant to grow faster. Just make sure to leave About 5 to 8 leaves of the small plant And about 9 to 13 leaves of the medium size plant. The pruning and cleaning can be done monthly, Or at least once in two months. That is why A few months after you planted Aloe vera, You can already make use of the plant.

You don’t have to wait for the plant to grow big And have bigger leaves. Now, If you have a bigger plant that you can juice Or eat on a regular basis. You can harvest any time. Just make sure the plant has 14 to 16 leaves left Every time you harvest. You count the leaves Starting from the smallest leaf you can see. As a gardener With potted aloe vera plants, I do harvesting every two months. And this is what I get every two months From just the right side row of Aloe vera plants. The left side was harvested two days ago. Commercially, The Aloe vera plants are directly
planted on the ground in farms. And generally, they harvest their Aloe vera Every 3 months. So, I hope you guys are satisfied with my answer. Than you very much for watching.
