Why Is It Important To Cut The Roots of Aloe vera Before Planting?

The reasons why I cut the roots of the Aloe vera pups before planting are to minimize the chance of rotting and to save space and soil. Aloe vera will always grow new roots after planting and most of the old roots will just die and rot, so It’s better to cut them.
